THE DIVE SHOP was established in July, 1996. Through the years we have certified a very large number of scuba divers. These divers were trained by PADI professionals and we are proud of our loyal and dedicated staff. We have seen many changes within the dive industry over the past 13 years. THE DIVE SHOP continues to be innovative within this sport. Our schedule can meet your schedule. Now located within THE DIVE SHOP Aquatic Center, we can offer classroom and pool time all in one location. THE DIVE SHOP Aquatic Center has an indoor 25 yard pool. The pool having 12' depth makes it an outstanding way to equalize.
We are CT's largest P.A.D.I. (www.padi.com) 5 Star I.D.C. (Instructor Development Center) and the only National Geographic Dive Center in CT. The National Geographic Diver program (www.padi.com/ng) is the newest and most exciting certification to hit the scuba diving world in years! As an authorized PADI National Geographic Dive Center, THE DIVE SHOP is excited to offer you the ultimate experience in underwater adventure, conservation, and the exploration wrapped into one intense experience that will change the way you dive.
Classes are offered from Open Water diver through Instructor.
